Instructions for Abstract Submission

  1. Use MS-Word 2002 or higher versions.
  2. Use the enclosed pre-set Abstract form (A4). The settings are given in parenthesis.
  1. Font type is Times New Roman.
  2. Margins are: top 3 cm, bottom 3 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm.
  3. Type the title (bold, 16 pts).
  4. Leave the blank line (normal, 12 pts).
  5. Type the full name of authors (first name, middle name, family name)(normal, 14 pts), underline the name of the presenting author.
  6. Use arabic numbers in superscript in the case of different institutional affiliations of the authors.
  7. Leave the blank line (normal, 12 pts).
  8. Type the address or addresses with the appropriate reference numbers in front of them (italic, 14 pts).
  9. Leave the blank line (normal, 12 pts).
  10. Type the text of the abstract in single-spaced form (normal, 14 pts).
  11. All text must fit on one page.
  1. Submit the Abstract form as an attachment by e-mail to miroslav.chovanec@savba.sk AND to eduard.goffa@savba.sk.
  2. The abstract must be received before April 15, 2017. FEBS Youth Travel Funds applicants must submit the abstract before March 1, 2017.
  3. Each registration fee entitles submission of one abstract only.
  4. Abstracts without paid registration will not be included in the program.
  5. The form will be reduced to A5 format.
